About The Position

The Director of Project Management leads DataMap’s project management practice and is accountable for the health and results of the company’s full portfolio of work, including customer, partner, partnership-growth, internal, and operations projects. The role ensures engagements and initiatives meet their schedules, budgets, quality standards, and intended outcomes, while maintaining portfolio margin, utilization, and delivery-driven growth. The Director leads Senior Project Managers, Project Managers, and coordinators, and works across consulting, engineering, QA, managed services, Sales, client executives, and DataMap’s executive team. Responsibilities include setting the practice’s methodology and operating model; establishing governance, delivery standards, and quality gates; chairing executive steering committees; and escalating delivery, commercial, or relationship risks. The role drives organization-level change in process, structure, visibility, communications, and change management. It also owns commercial processes and results, including forecasting, pricing input, change-order discipline, and a lead-to-signature process for delivery-generated sales. The Director builds and develops the PMO team through hiring, onboarding, training, career development, and coaching. A central focus is leading the AI transformation of the PMO in partnership with the executive team. This includes tool selection, evolving delivery methodology, establishing AI-assisted workflows and risk signals, and measuring results in cycle time, quality, and margin. The Director also represents DataMap’s AI-first delivery in client executive briefings, industry content, speaking, and pursuit support, and leads flagship AI and automation programs built on DataMap products and enterprise platforms.
