About Your Role You are a collaborative advocate for teachers and students, skillfully balancing multiple needs and competing priorities with grace and agility. You possess exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and systems-thinking skills, with a proven ability to manage complex program operations including scheduling, staffing, and enrollment. You demonstrate a positive, joyful leadership approach, remaining flexible and supportive to your team as program needs and school priorities shift. You have experience working with external partners and vendors to deliver high-quality programming while ensuring financial sustainability and profitability. You exhibit a growth-oriented mindset, utilizing data-driven approaches to constantly enhance and diversify the impact of Essentials, Electives, and Auxiliary programs. You are a skilled communicator who builds strong, lasting relationships with faculty, current families, alumni, and the surrounding community. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Minimum 5 years education, administration or management experience.
  • Preferably with significant experience in youth program and personnel leadership and management.
  • Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in K-8.
  • Grant permission for a background check upon hire.
  • Meet physical demands to perform essential functions of the role. Nice To Haves

  • Master’s Degree preferred.
  • Visual or performing arts and/or athletics background is a plus.
  • Fundraising and/or grant experience a plus.
  • Note: Candidate is not required to be Early Childhood Director qualified upon hire.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Program Leadership: Lead the development and continuous improvement of Essentials, Electives, Athletics, and Co-Curricular programming to ensure they remain principal market differentiators. Our Essentials Division includes the following domains: Spanish, STEAM, Fitness, and Arts (Visual Arts, Dance, Drama, and Music).
  • Personnel Management: Hire, on-board, coach, and evaluate an extraordinary faculty team, program staff, and external vendors to ensure excellence in performance and pedagogical prowess.
  • Licensed Program Oversight: Oversee all licensed programs (Pre-K, Before/After School, Summer Camp Vendors), ensuring full enrollment and strict compliance with state licensing, health, and safety regulations.
  • Financial & Operational Management: Ensure the strategic vision, financial management, and profitability of all programs while overseeing complex scheduling and academic integration.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with the LiFE (Leadership, Financial Acumen, and Entrepreneurial Mindset) team and core teachers to integrate academic content in meaningful, relevant ways.
  • Administrative Oversight: Supervise the Athletic Director & Programs Manager and other auxiliary personnel to align all student programming with the school’s strategic goals.
