About The Position

The Director of Programs is responsible for the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of PROPEL's learning and workforce readiness experiences. This role oversees the participant journey across challenges, camps, learning pathways, workshops, and future PROPEL Studios, ensuring every experience is engaging, operationally excellent, and aligned with workforce outcomes. The Director of Programs will work cross-functionally with Partnerships, Product, Data & Student Success, Marketing, and Operations to translate organizational goals into high-impact participant experiences that prepare learners for the future of work.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development, implementation, and growth of PROPEL's program portfolio.
  • Establish strategic priorities, annual goals, and program success measures.
  • Develop scalable systems, frameworks, and operational standards.
  • Ensure programs equip participants with workforce readiness, leadership, and professional skills.
  • Oversee curriculum and learning experience design aligned with employer and industry needs.
  • Drive continuous innovation to improve participant outcomes.
  • Lead and develop program staff, facilitators, and contractors.
  • Oversee program budgets, resource allocation, and operational effectiveness.
  • Ensure successful execution and quality delivery across all programs.
  • Monitor program performance and outcome metrics.
  • Use data and stakeholder feedback to improve program effectiveness.
  • Prepare reports and recommendations for leadership, funders, and partners.
