About The Position

amplo has built the system of record for the $200+ billion insurance brokerage and agency market, serving industry leaders like USAA. WR Berkley, a Fortune 500 company, provides strategic partnership. The company is seeking a Director of Product to lead the clarity, coherence, and execution of its product roadmap as it scales. This role is for an operator focused on making things work and ensuring product delivery aligns with customer and business needs. The Director will report to the SVP of Engineering and collaborate closely with the CEO and GTM leadership to translate company priorities into an executable product direction. The ideal candidate thrives on building high-performing teams, establishing consistent delivery systems, and holding teams accountable for customer-centric outcomes. They should also be comfortable with the advancements in AI tooling and enthusiastic about building AI products and redefining product development processes.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a product manager or product leader in a high-growth SaaS or enterprise software environment
  • A track record of improving delivery quality and predictability, having built systems rather than just followed them
  • Strong coaching and people management skills, with the ability to develop PMs at different levels and hold them to a high standard
  • Ability to translate ambiguous company goals into a clear, actionable product roadmap
  • Excellent communication skills, direct, structured, and effective with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Deep customer empathy and strong analytical instincts

  • Experience in Salesforce ecosystems or B2B enterprise workflow software

Responsibilities

  • Own and define the product roadmap within engineering's scope, ensuring traceability to company strategy and customer impact.
  • Drive execution and delivery quality by establishing processes, rituals, and metrics for measurable and predictable product delivery, identifying and removing blockers, and raising the bar for completion.
  • Lead and develop a small team of Product Managers, setting clear expectations, fostering a culture of ownership and accountability, and investing in their growth.
  • Act as the connective tissue across sales, support, engineering, and design to ensure alignment between technical execution and product intent.
  • Deepen customer and market understanding by staying close to customers, synthesizing insights into product decisions, and ensuring solutions address real problems with customer impact as the primary measure of success.
