Director of Product

CurbeeDallas, TX
$160,000 - $200,000

About The Position

Curbee is the fastest-growing mobile service technology provider. Curbee enables dealerships to offer mobile service with its platform called M.A.R.S. (Mobile and Remote Service). With Curbee., it's simple: dealerships send the right van to the right job, using the right route with the right parts, at the right time. We’re a scrappy, curious, resourceful team that's united by a “work hard, play hard” mentality. We connect in person often, transferring knowledge, building our culture and learning firsthand in market with our Dealer Partners. We’ve also been known to seek out the most killer chocolate chip cookies during our travels. At Curbee, everyone’s an owner, with equity on the table for all. We also offer unlimited PTO, excellent insurance benefits, and a culture built on fun, innovation, and collaboration. We’re looking for a hands-on Director of Product Management to partner with leadership on product direction and own execution. You will work directly with customers to shape the roadmap and ensure we’re building the right features at the right time. You’ll collaborate closely with engineering to define problems and explore solutions. You’ll turn priorities into small, shippable increments of customer value, often starting with lightweight prototypes and iteration rather than long specs. This is not a strategy only role. You’re responsible for making sure what we build is clear, shipped consistently, and actually used. Your goal is to improve adoption, reduce churn, and drive real value to our customers.

Requirements

  • Proven product operator (8+ years) You’ve built and shipped real products in a B2B SaaS environment and owned outcomes, not just roadmaps.
  • Deep automotive dealership experience (required) You’ve built SaaS products used by automotive dealerships and understand how dealerships actually operate day to day. You’re familiar with service workflows, dealer constraints, and how software fits into their business.
  • Strong at problem framing, not just writing specs You can take messy customer feedback and turn it into clear problems, priorities, and solutions.
  • Comfortable working side-by-side with engineering You collaborate directly with engineers to explore solutions, prototype, and iterate quickly. You don’t rely on long handoffs or heavy PRDs.
  • Experience with integrations and partner-driven products You’ve worked with APIs, DMS systems, or other third-party integrations and understand how to build around external constraints.
  • Data-informed and outcome-focused You define success, track adoption and usage, and adjust based on what’s actually working.
  • High ownership, low ego You take responsibility for outcomes, step in where needed, and do what it takes to get things shipped and adopted.
  • Comfortable in a fast-moving startup You can operate with ambiguity, move quickly, and prioritize without perfect information.
  • Strong communicator You can work across customers, engineering, and GTM teams and keep everyone aligned on what matters.

Responsibilities

  • Own the Product Lifecycle: Define what we build, drive the roadmap, and ensure work moves from idea → shipped → adopted
  • Talk to Customers: Spend time with dealers, observe workflows, and turn real-world friction into product improvements
  • Define Requirements: Write clear, concise specs and acceptance criteria so engineering can move quickly without ambiguity
  • Drive Execution: Break work into small increments, remove blockers, and ensure consistent delivery and smooth launches
  • Own Integrations: Work directly with DMS vendors and partners to translate APIs and workflows into scalable product capabilities
  • Drive Adoption & Retention: Define success metrics, track usage, and improve features post-launch to increase dealer engagement and reduce churn
  • Make Data-Driven Decisions: Use customer feedback and product data to prioritize work and refine the roadmap
  • Support Go-to-Market: Create simple enablement materials (training guides, videos, email explainers) so dealers understand and use new features
  • Stay Ahead of the Market: Track competitors and emerging automotive software to keep Curbee a step ahead

Benefits

  • Equity ownership (because we’re all in this together)
  • Comprehensive benefits with unlimited PTO
  • Referral incentives for new clients and internal employee hires
  • The chance to make a massive impact in a small, fast-moving team
