About The Position

EvenUp is on a mission to close the justice gap using technology and AI, empowering personal injury lawyers and victims to achieve faster settlements, higher payouts, and better outcomes. The company is one of the fastest-growing vertical SaaS companies, backed by top VCs. EvenUp is seeking an exceptional Director (or Senior Director) of Product to shape the future of its platform and drive meaningful impact. This role reports to the VP of Product & Design and involves leading a critical part of the platform, managing a team of product managers, and partnering with leaders across engineering, data science, design, marketing, and sales to deliver intuitive, scalable solutions. It is a high-impact leadership role offering the opportunity to define bold strategies, inspire a high-performing team, and apply expertise in product management and AI to solve complex, meaningful problems. This is a hybrid role requiring at least 3 days a week in the San Francisco office.

Requirements

• 10+ years in Product Management, with at least 3+ years specifically leading and scaling PM teams within high-growth SaaS environments (Series C to IPO).
• Deep, hands-on experience shipping AI/ML products. You understand the nuances of LLMs, prompt engineering, and the technical trade-offs required to build reliable generative systems.
• You thrive in ambiguity. You have successfully navigated the scaling pains of a rapidly expanding organization without losing sight of product quality.
• Strong track record driving both technical and user-facing AI product strategy and execution.
• Customer-obsessed problem solver who turns complexity into intuitive product experiences.
• Effective communicator and cross-functional influencer, including at the executive level.
• You don't just "ship features"; you move metrics. You are obsessed with outcomes, user retention, and building defensible competitive moats through product.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive product strategy across multiple products and platforms, with a focus on launching AI products that deliver broad and deep value to law firms.
• Lead and grow a team of product managers, fostering a culture of extreme ownership, rapid velocity, and technical excellence.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with design, engineering, GTM, and leadership to prioritize, build, and ship impactful solutions at scale.
• Balance vision and execution, moving fluidly between long-term strategy and hands-on involvement in AI product design, experimentation, and iteration.
