About The Position

Omnifold, a Series B startup, is building an AI-centric planning platform for supply chains. The company aims to capture a significant share of the $30B TAM in supply chain software by challenging established advanced planning systems. This role is central to that mission, requiring a strategic thinker who can redefine the category. The ideal candidate will be passionate about disruptive market plays, similar to the strategies of Salesforce or Databricks. This position is for an individual contributor initially, with the expectation of building a team as the company grows. It offers a broad scope and the opportunity to shape a new market category. The first year will focus on establishing positioning and messaging, launching the demand planning product, developing vertical narratives, and consistently publishing thought leadership content. Flexibility in this sequence is encouraged if a different approach is deemed more effective.

Requirements

  • 10+ years in B2B product marketing.
  • Demonstrated ability to launch new products.
  • Experience writing successful market positioning.
  • Ability to quickly learn and explain complex technical domains.
  • Enjoyment of content creation.
  • Strong opinions and a desire to build something special.

  • Experience in supply chain.
  • Experience marketing AI-based systems.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and own positioning and messaging that differentiates the product in the market.
  • Lead product marketing efforts, including naming capabilities, defining their purpose, and establishing company-wide vocabulary.
  • Create compelling narratives and stories, tailored by vertical, to highlight the problem and solution.
  • Define and execute campaign architecture in collaboration with the Head of Demand Generation, ensuring campaigns are impactful, distinct, and drive action.
  • Create content and thought leadership pieces.
  • Learn complex technical domains quickly and explain them simply.
