About The Position

Salesforce is seeking a Director of Product Management to lead the vision and strategy for customer onboarding and adoption, focusing on an AI-first and conversational UI-first world. The role involves transforming the customer onboarding experience by leveraging Agentforce, Slackbot, and Headless 360. This includes conducting market research, creating prototypes with AI tools, engaging with customers to validate the vision and solution design, and collaborating with scrum teams and platform teams to deliver the solution. The Director will also be responsible for presenting the vision to executives, enabling the field to position and sell the solution, and providing deal support.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of product management experience (or a combination of PM + Salesforce solution architecture experience) building enterprise enterprise software applications.
  • Ability to build products with consumer grade UX and platform extensibility.
  • Strong curiosity and empathy to understand customer problems, and judgement to prioritize them effectively.
  • Deep technical aptitude to manage discussions with engineering to drive architecture decisions, evaluate trade-offs, and ensure that the product is built for scale, reliability, and extensibility.
  • Ability to work across other product teams as well as cross functional teams to deliver a joint roadmap.
  • Active use of AI-powered productivity tools in day-to-day work.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

  • Salesforce products and platform knowledge would be a huge plus.
  • Experience building or implementing products for customer support space.
  • Experience building or implementing products for SMB market.

Responsibilities

  • Own the vision to reimagine customer onboarding experience by leveraging Agentforce, Slackbot, and Headless 360 (Salesforce MCPs/APIs).
  • Conduct market and competitive research.
  • Create working prototypes using AI tools, and drive customer engagements to validate the vision as well as solution design.
  • Work with scrum teams to deliver the solution.
  • Work with Agentforce and platform teams to leverage their latest capabilities and manage technical dependencies.
  • Present the vision and solution to execs and stakeholders.
  • Enable the field to position and sell the solution effectively.
  • Provide deal support as needed.
