About The Position

Spreetail is seeking a Director of Procurement to serve as the accountable leader for approximately $29 million in annual addressable spend across eight fulfillment centers. The role leads end-to-end operational sourcing strategies for packaging, pallets, corrugate, business services, and facility supplies, while driving commercial negotiations, cost savings, and vendor accountability. The Director leads on-site non-inventory hourly teams responsible for receiving, staging, and replenishing materials; establishes inventory controls and lean kanban processes; and builds alignment across Finance, Operations, and carrier partners. Responsibilities also include procurement systems and controls, vendor onboarding, invoice reconciliation, approval workflows, and reporting monthly savings KPIs to executive leadership. Spreetail’s Work Your Way approach lets employees choose where they work most effectively each week, subject to state eligibility. Corporate employees gather in Lincoln quarterly for a week of collaboration, team building, community engagement, and an All-Hands meeting. The posting lists this role as remote (#LI-Remote).
