About The Position

Twin Health is seeking its dedicated Director, Head of Procurement to build and lead the end-to-end procurement function across both traditional SaaS/technology vendors and our portfolio of medical & consumer health sensor vendors. This is a player-coach role where you will both negotiate high impact deals and design the procurement infrastructure needed to scale the business. Reporting to the CFO, you will serve as a strategic partner to Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, IT, and the Executive team, translating procurement decisions into measurable cost savings, reliability & operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • 8+ years in procurement, sourcing, or vendor management
  • 3+ years in a leadership/Director role
  • Experience across both SaaS/technology and physical goods procurement
  • Experience building or scaling procurement in a high-growth environment
  • Strong negotiation track record with measurable cost savings (15%+)
  • Familiarity with procurement systems (Coupa, Ariba, Zip, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of contracts, vendor risk, and compliance
  • Builder Mentality: Eager to roll up sleeves, design processes, and execute tasks while simultaneously developing a long-term strategic vision for the function.
  • Exceptional Negotiator: Proven ability to drive favorable outcomes across a wide range of vendor types, from enterprise SaaS to medical device manufacturers, with a creative and data-driven approach.
  • Cross-Functional Collaborator: Ability to build trust and drive adoption across Engineering, IT, Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain teams — comfortable influencing without direct authority.
  • Analytical Rigor: Impeccable attention to detail and a commitment to data-driven decision-making, spend analytics, and compliance.
  • Systems Thinker: Able to evaluate procurement technology platforms critically and make build-vs-buy decisions that balance short-term needs with long-term scalability.

Nice To Haves

  • MBA or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management.
  • CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management), CPP, or equivalent professional certification.
  • Experience in regulated medical devices, health products, or supplements in a healthcare or digital health environment.
  • ERP Experience with Netsuite or similar systems
  • Exposure to S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) or M&A-related procurement

Responsibilities

  • Establish and scale Twin Health’s end-to-end procurement strategy, processes, and tools
  • Design procurement policies, workflows, approval structures, and internal controls (SOX-ready)
  • Define the long-term operating model and team structure
  • Own procurement across 120+ SaaS, cloud, and technology vendors (~$5M annual spend)
  • Lead sourcing, RFPs, negotiations, contracting, and renewals
  • Drive vendor consolidation, cost optimization, and contract standardization
  • Partner with IT, Engineering, and Security on vendor selection and governance
  • Manage ~$50M annual spend across medical devices, sensors, supplements, and consumer kits
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and supply agreements with manufacturers
  • Develop alternative supplier strategies to reduce risk and improve resilience
  • Ensure quality, reliability, and member experience standards are maintained
  • Own procurement systems and vendor management tools (e.g., Zip, Coupa, Ariba, Vertice)
  • Build dashboards for spend, savings, cycle time, contract coverage, and vendor performance
  • Drive company-wide adoption of procurement processes and systems
  • Partner with CAO, CFO, and executive team on cost strategy and vendor risk
  • Advise on procurement implications for new products, partnerships, and initiatives
  • Lead hiring and development of future procurement team members
  • Other duties as assigned
