About The Position

Under guidance from the Executive Director of Nursing, the Director of Procedural and Specialty Services (PSS) provides operational oversight for key service lines, including Emergency Department & Behavioral Health, Surgical Services, and Women’s and Children’s Services, while supporting strategic priorities and service line planning. The Dir of PSS is responsible for service line performance, operational efficiency, quality outcomes, budget management, productivity, and regulatory readiness. The Director partners with managers, providers, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, patient- and family-centered care while driving continuous improvement in throughput, quality, and patient experience outcomes.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited school is required.
• A master’s degree in nursing is required.
• A current, unencumbered North Carolina or compact state Registered Nurse license is required.
• 5+ years clinical experience with previous management experience required.
• BLS Upon Hire.
• ACLS and PALS within 6 months.

Nice To Haves

• Progressive leadership experience preferred.
• Relevant specialty certifications preferred.
