About The Position

Vein911® Vein Treatment Centers is expanding and seeking a dedicated Director of Practice Operations. This role is responsible for leading the day-to-day operational performance of a multi-location practice, translating strategy, standards, and culture into consistent execution. A key objective is to build a management and operating system that allows physician leadership and the CEO to focus on clinical excellence, strategy, growth, and innovation, rather than routine operational management. The position reports directly to the CEO and collaborates closely with physician and clinical leadership. The company, founded in 2010, is a physician-led practice specializing in venous and lymphatic medicine, with multiple locations and approximately 50 team members. It is recognized nationally for care, education, and research. Its mission is 'We’ll Help You Feel Great Again!®', with a vision of 'Ritz-Carlton service, Disney fun, and Amazon efficiency'. The sister company, Health Performance Specialists®, is the largest network of independent vein practices in the USA. This role offers significant authority, direct access to ownership and leadership, and the opportunity to make visible, measurable improvements in strengthening, standardizing, and scaling the operating system of a growing specialty practice.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressively responsible healthcare operations or medical-practice management preferred; exceptional candidates with a minimum of 8 years and a demonstrated comparable track record will be considered.
  • At least 5 years leading multi-site healthcare operations.
  • Multi-county experience required; multi-state experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience managing managers, not only frontline employees, across 40–100+ people.
  • A documented record of standardizing operations and improving performance.
  • Effective use of KPIs, scorecards and dashboards; strong performance management.
  • Significant experience working directly with physicians, APPs and clinical teams.
  • A bachelor’s degree is preferred (MHA or MBA welcomed); proven results weigh more than credentials.
  • Execution & follow-through
  • Ownership & accountability
  • Direct, calm communication
  • Developing people and leaders
  • Adaptability in a fast-moving culture
