About The Position

Temple University's Athletics Department is searching for a Director of Player Personnel/Women's Basketball Assistant Coach. This position is responsible for preparing student-athletes for athletic, personal, and academic success. The role will oversee day-to-day personnel matters of student-athletes, assist in planning weekly and monthly practices, class, and study hall hours, and assist with all on-campus recruiting activities. The position will also contribute to practice and coaching, with assigned duties related to coaching student-athletes. The Director of Player Personnel will perform other duties as assigned by the Head Women's Basketball Coach.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree
Two or more years related experience
Knowledge of NCAA and Conference Regulations
Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office Software including Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
PA Child Abuse Clearance
FBI Fingerprint Criminal Background Check
PA State Police Criminal Background Check

Nice To Haves

Previous experience with a Division 1-A Women’s Basketball program
Master’s degree

Responsibilities

Overseeing the day-to-day personnel matters of student-athletes
Assisting in planning weekly and monthly practices, class, and study hall hours
Assisting with all on-campus recruiting activities
Contributing to practice and coaching
Performing other duties as assigned by the Head Women's Basketball Coach
Supervise the maintenance and improvements of Women’s Basketball facilities, including field preparation and readiness.
Liaise with the coaching staff for Women’s Basketball officiating and rules, including University guidelines, American Athletic Conference guidelines, and NCAA rules.
Organize preseason training camp with regards to housing, meals, transportation, entertainment, speakers and presentations, officials, and daily schedule.
Assist with the coordination and execution of fundraising, donor, and fan events.
