About The Position

Temple University's Athletics Department is searching for a Director of Player & Alumni Relations. This role serves as a key relationship-building resource within Temple Football, strengthening connections among current student-athletes, Temple Football alumni, recruits, coaches, and the broader Temple Athletics community. The position reports to the Chief of Staff and works closely with the Head Football Coach and football staff. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and at least two years of previous football experience as a collegiate coach and/or collegiate student-athlete.
• Experience administering Division I NCAA rules.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• Must be able to work a highly variable schedule including nights and weekends.
• Must be able to lift 30 - 50 pounds.
• Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office software, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Demonstrated problem-solving, strong leadership, and team-building skills.
• Demonstrated ability to handle and prioritize diverse tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

• NCAA Division I experience.
• Demonstrated experience developing and allocating a budget.
• Demonstrated experience fundraising towards the achievement of program goals.

Responsibilities

• Strengthen connections among current student-athletes, Temple Football alumni, recruits, coaches, and the broader Temple Athletics community.
• Assist with the coordination and execution of fundraising, donor, and fan events.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
