Requirements

  • Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) required or equivalent
  • A minimum five (5) years related experience with at least one year of management experience in Environmental Care/Services.
  • Must have experience with reading blueprints and understand Life Safety Code and OSHA Regulations.
  • Must have an understanding of Ohm's Law and refrigeration theory.
  • Current Florida Driver’s License (may be required to drive company van on occasion)
  • CRT Certificate
  • Knowledge of state and government agency procedures and policies
  • Ability to organize materials as well as priorities of tasks at hand.
  • Knowledge of relevant equipment (Air Conditioner, Generators, Sprinklers, Fire Pump, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, etc.
  • Ability to work in a loud busy environment
  • Ability to multi task
  • Ability to meet Corporate and Federal Guidelines and deadlines.
  • Must be available 24 hours per day
  • Sensitive and aware of diverse cultures and their practices

Nice To Haves

  • Degree in facility management, equivalent in trade school degree, or related field preferred; or equivalent in related experience
  • Spanish speaking skills preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Managing and organizing the operations of the facility including maintenance and grounds keeping while maintaining compliance with all applicable codes, standards of government and regulatory agencies.
  • Serving as the facility's Safety Officer.
  • Serving on the Safety/Risk Committee.
