About The Position
An outpatient physical therapy office in Leesburg, VA is seeking a Director of Physical Therapy to lead clinical services and oversee day-to-day clinic operations. This position is responsible for maintaining high standards of care, supporting the therapy team, and helping patients progress through effective rehabilitation plans. The Director of Physical Therapy will provide clinical leadership while remaining actively involved in patient evaluation, treatment planning, and care coordination.
Requirements
- Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Active Virginia Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain
- Outpatient physical therapy experience required
- Familiarity with EMR systems, documentation standards, and compliance expectations
Nice To Haves
- Previous director, management, or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong clinical leadership and organizational skills
Responsibilities
- Direct outpatient physical therapy services and clinical operations
- Evaluate patients and develop treatment plans based on functional needs
- Provide therapy services for injury recovery, post-surgical rehabilitation, pain, and mobility limitations
- Supervise therapists, assistants, and other clinical support team members
- Review patient documentation, care plans, and progress reports
- Ensure compliance with professional, regulatory, and payer requirements
- Support clinic goals related to quality, efficiency, and patient outcomes
