About The Position

We are looking for a Director of Physical Therapy to oversee an outpatient physical therapy office in Woodstock, VA. This role is focused on clinical leadership, patient care quality, team supervision, and efficient daily operations. The Director of Physical Therapy helps patients improve movement, rebuild strength, reduce physical limitations, and work toward meaningful functional goals. This position also supports staff performance, documentation standards, and care coordination.

Requirements

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Active Virginia Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain
• Outpatient physical therapy experience required
• Familiarity with EMR systems, documentation standards, and compliance expectations

Nice To Haves

• Previous director, management, or supervisory experience preferred
• Strong clinical leadership and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of outpatient physical therapy services
• Complete patient evaluations and establish individualized care plans
• Provide direct treatment and monitor patient progress throughout care
• Supervise clinical staff and assist with professional development
• Review documentation for accuracy, quality, and timely completion
• Support scheduling, patient flow, and daily clinic organization
• Maintain compliance with applicable state and federal guidelines
