About The Position

We are seeking a Director of Physical Therapy for a full-time outpatient position in Purcellville, VA. This role is responsible for leading therapy services, overseeing staff, and helping patients receive structured rehabilitation care from evaluation through discharge. The Director of Physical Therapy will support clinical quality, patient outcomes, compliance, and daily clinic performance while remaining actively engaged in patient care.

Requirements

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Active Virginia Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain
• Outpatient physical therapy experience required
• Familiarity with EMR systems, documentation standards, and compliance expectations

Nice To Haves

• Previous director, management, or supervisory experience preferred
• Strong clinical leadership and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Direct physical therapy services within an outpatient clinic environment
• Evaluate patients and create personalized plans of care
• Treat patients with pain, injury, post-surgical, balance, and mobility concerns
• Track patient progress and adjust treatment plans when clinically appropriate
• Lead clinical team members and support daily staff performance
• Review documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance
• Help manage scheduling, clinic flow, and operational priorities
• Promote consistent care standards across the patient experience
