About The Position

Aidin is seeking a mission-driven and versatile Director of People Operations to help build and retain its team. This role is responsible for cultivating organizational culture through hiring and employee satisfaction. The position reports directly to Aidin’s Chief Financial Officer and will collaborate with management, staff, and external recruiters on recruiting and team-building. Key responsibilities include owning employee onboarding, managing HR and performance review systems, and supporting staff. The company operates 100% remotely within U.S. Eastern or Central time zones. As the first dedicated People Operations hire, this role requires a strategic, hands-on individual to establish the people function from the ground up, translating core values into operational blueprints and systems for scaling.

Requirements

  • 8 to 10 years of professional experience in HR, recruiting, or People Operations
  • Comfortable in a fast-moving, collaborative, fully remote startup environment
  • Excellent written and in person communication skills
  • Experience with HR management software tool

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive HR generalist support across the organization, including employee relations, policy development, and compliance
  • Develop and manage the full recruiting lifecycle, from sourcing and interviewing to offer negotiation and onboarding, ensuring a positive candidate experience. Aidin works with external recruiters and you would manage those relationships
  • Lead the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth and welcoming integration into the company culture
  • Design and execute the annual performance review process, including goal setting, feedback collection, and performance calibration
  • Coach and advise managers on HR best practices, performance management, employee development, and other people-related matters
  • Implement and manage HR systems and tools to improve efficiency and data accuracy
  • Foster a positive and inclusive company culture, championing Aidin's values and commitment to diversity
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement people strategies that align with business objectives
  • Stay up-to-date on HR trends, best practices, and employment laws to ensure compliance and drive continuous improvement
