About The Position

The Director of People & Culture is responsible for leading the company's human resources strategy and daily HR operations while fostering a positive, engaging, and high-performing workplace culture. This role oversees the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, training, and organizational development. The Director of People & Culture partners with leadership to attract, develop, and retain top talent while ensuring HR processes support the company's long-term growth and values. This position plays a critical leadership role in shaping the employee experience while ensuring Human Resources practices align with the company's mission, values, and long-term strategic objectives.

Requirements

5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience.
Experience managing full-cycle recruiting and employee onboarding.
Working knowledge of employment laws, HR compliance, and best practices.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR technology platforms.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification.
Experience in the construction, skilled trades, manufacturing, or service industries.
Experience managing apprenticeship or workforce development programs.
Experience leading culture, engagement, and employee development initiatives.
