About The Position

Lumion is the AI-first operating system for trade and technical schools, managing the full student journey from inquiry to graduation across engagement, enrollment, payments, and student success. Our platform integrates AI agents with human teams, eliminating the need for multiple disparate tools. A key differentiator is our in-house, NMLS-licensed payments and servicing engine, which has maintained a 91.6% collection rate for three years. This engine is crucial for ensuring students can afford their education, bridging the gap between enrollment and completion. Requirements

Experience in consumer finance, payments, loan servicing, collections, or fintech operations.
Understanding of how origination, portfolio performance, and collection rates behave under load.
Hands-on experience building systems and fixing broken processes.
Proficiency in analyzing cohort curves and collection performance, with a strong grasp of unit economics.
Experience leading servicing, collections, or operations teams.
Product sense to identify and prioritize improvements in portals and workflows.
Authorization to work in the US.

Responsibilities

Own the payments business P&L, including revenue, margin, unit economics, and growth strategy.
Drive origination and usage of the payments platform, increasing the number of schools using payments and the volume of enrollments processed.
Manage the in-house, US-based servicing and collections operation, including team, workflows, and borrower experience, aiming to improve the current 91.6% collection rate.
Oversee all reporting related to payments, including origination, collections, and portfolio health, for schools, the executive team, and the board.
Own the product roadmap and maintenance for the student portal, relevant parts of the school portal, and all product/tools used by the servicing team.
Collaborate with product and engineering to reduce friction and increase conversion in the student payment portal.
