About The Position

Assisted is seeking a Director of Patient Care Services/Director of Nursing to clinically lead its Hospice Division in Culver City. The role establishes and implements the location’s overall clinical direction and creates and continuously evaluates hospice care goals to ensure they meet quality standards and support the organization’s philosophy. The Director has overall responsibility for supervising and overseeing hospice patient care services, including activities related to services furnished, personnel qualifications, and personnel assignments.

Requirements

• Current license to practice as a registered nurse (RN) from the California Board of Registered Nursing.
• At least a bachelor’s degree in nursing or another health-related field.
• Three years of experience within the last five years in a hospice agency, primary care clinic, or health facility.
• Five years of prior supervisory or administrative experience in hospice.

Responsibilities

• Establish and implement the location’s overall clinical direction.
• Create and continuously evaluate hospice care goals to ensure they meet quality standards and promote the organization’s philosophy.
• Supervise and oversee all hospice patient care services.
• Oversee activities relevant to patient care services furnished, including developing personnel qualifications and assigning personnel.
