About The Position

Supporting some of the largest QSR brands, the Director of Operations will oversee 10-20 locations within the Chicago market. This position will be a 5-day work week; however, flexibility will be needed to accommodate coverage for business needs.

Requirements

• Experience managing multiple locations at high-volume quick-service restaurants is required.
• Qualified candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency in MS Office or Google Suite is required.
• Ability to manage and effectively communicate with stakeholders of varying levels
• Ability to interpret and present financial information is required.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and influence change.
• This is a leadership role; a demonstrated understanding of confidentiality is required.

Nice To Haves

• Experience opening new locations and undergoing remodels is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Creates sales programs to leverage business opportunities.
• Establishes labor budgets, food cost targets, guest surveys, and brand standards. Ensures Restaurant Managers maintain monthly, quarterly, and yearly goals.
• Oversees store performance; forecast sales data and trends to best support business and staffing needs.
• Work with Restaurant Managers to determine hiring needs. Support Restaurant Managers with interviewing, disciplining, and training of crew members.
• Oversees ongoing store maintenance and escalates to external vendors.
• Leads brand standards to meet and surpass board of health and ops connect inspections.
• Ensures speed of service goals are being met.
• Cover for restaurant managers’ days off, as needed.
• Support daily operations of stores, as needed.
