General Summary: This position reports directly to the VP of Operations and directly supervises Practice Managers (PM). This position will have responsibility for multiple clinics. Provides leadership, direction and ongoing administration and management for all aspects of clinic operations. Participates in the development and implementation of compliance, training, education, policies, and procedures including best practices for clinic operations. Responsible for checking and directing provider schedules with the Practice Managers, to ensure provider schedules are filled per OnPoint Medical Group Standards. This position may require hours outside of normal business hours due to clinic operation’s needs.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of organization policies, procedures, systems, and objectives.
  • Knowledge of OnPoint Medical Group products and services.
  • Knowledge of health care administrative systems.
  • Knowledge of governmental regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Knowledge of computer systems and applications.
  • Skill in planning, organizing and supervising.
  • Skill in exercising initiative, judgment, problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Skill in developing and maintaining effective relationships with medical and administrative staff, patients and the public.
  • Skill in assisting in the development of comprehensive reports.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret complex data.
  • Ability to research and assist in preparing comprehensive reports.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
  • Minimum of two (2) years relevant experience in operations of Primary Care, Internal Medicine, OB-GYN or Pediatrics at a manager level.
  • Valid Drivers License and vehicle to travel to locations.

Nice To Haves

  • Five (5) years preferred experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Equivalent experience in lieu of education may be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Day to Day management of Practice Manager and clinic operations.
  • Present in the clinics to assist and work with PMs to meet clinic goals.
  • Work with Practice Managers to maintain full provider schedules.
  • Ensure constant monitoring of provider schedules and links to other scheduling platforms.
  • Review reporting and implement corrective action plans for the clinics.
  • Work to implement standardized workflows.
  • Coordinate with the VP of Operations, Physician Leads and Practice Manger to implement strategic initiatives.
  • Coordinate with various corporate office departments to drive OMG initiatives and serve as escalation point for both Practice Managers and corporate office.
  • Recruit, interview, select and hire new management and assist Practice Managers with the same for staff members in coordination with human resources.
  • Approval of clinics payroll on biweekly basis.
  • Approval of clinic expenses per financial policies.
  • Communicate as needed during non-business hours to ensure clinic objectives are met.
  • Travel between assigned locations weekly.
  • Additional duties may be assigned.
