About The Position

Dupuy Group is currently seeking a Director of Operations to join our SILO location. This is an internal position and open to current DUPUY employees only. The incumbent is responsible for warehousing facilities, trucking, maintenance and overall profitability measured against people management, revenue management, and optimal utilization of assets. The ideal candidate will be responsible for daily operations and long-term strategies for Dupuy SILO. Direct oversight of staff to ensure all work is performed efficiently and meets safety and quality standards. Collaborate with departmental teams to advance and implement long-term reporting processes, operational strategies, as well as monitoring KPIs, budget goals, and improvement plans.

Requirements

  • Minimum Education required: High School Diploma or equivalency.
  • Basic math skills, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and simple fractions.
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Understanding of the blending system
  • Working knowledge and use of production software
  • Continuing education/training in quality assurance/safety is MANDATORY.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, monitor, and oversee day-to-day operations to ensure efficient, timely, and productive performance.
  • Coordinate production schedules and work closely with Maintenance to minimize equipment downtime and operational disruptions.
  • Build effective working relationships across departments and with external partners to support operational and customer needs.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, productivity, quality, and cost effectiveness.
  • Monitor production processes, schedules, supplies, and resources to ensure customer and operational requirements are met.
  • Ensure compliance with established standard operating procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), quality standards, and Product Hold/Release procedures.
  • Maintain and promote strong housekeeping and 5S standards throughout the operation.
  • Promote a safe and secure work environment and ensure compliance with company and site safety policies and procedures.
  • Address and escalate unsafe conditions, hazards, incidents, and other safety concerns as appropriate.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable FDA, SQF, OSHA, and other local, state, and federal quality, safety, and environmental requirements.
  • Monitor key operational measurements and cost drivers and recommend improvements to reduce waste and control costs.
  • Maintain accurate operational documentation and required records.
  • Complete required safety, quality, compliance, and job-specific training.
