About The Position

Open Sky has more than 20 years of experience in outreach and care coordination for homeless individuals – often with co-occurring mental health diagnoses or substance use disorder – and their family members. Our homeless services provide a range of emergency and long-term services, housing searches and subsidies, employment and education support, and mental health and substance use disorder counseling. The Homeless Services Operations Director will work closely with the Division Director to manage operational and administrative tasks to ensure functional efficiency of the division. The Homeless Services Operations Director will supervise team leads and oversee a team of Housing Specialists who provide housing management and integrated care coordination in collaboration with the individuals enrolled, landlords, and medical and behavioral health providers.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent, required.
  • Valid Drivers License and acceptable driving record, required.
  • Experience working with homeless and underserved populations, adults with serious and persistent mental illness and substance use disorders, required.
  • Minimum of five years supervisory experience, required.
  • Experience working closely with landlords, housing managers, and housing resources in the community including navigating health, behavioral health and/or substance use treatment systems.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and implement service operations and requirements.
  • Communicate with EOHHS, health care, and agency leadership in collaboration with the Division Director, and Contracts Manager.
  • Work collaboratively with billing team to ensure that billing is accurate, on time, and satisfies the requirements of participating insurance entities and funding sources.
  • Manage completion of day-to-day program budgeting tasks with support of the Team leads and Contracts Manager.
  • Work collaboratively with the Division Director to monitor and ensure the delivery of interventions in accordance with the ISP at the appropriate frequency via review of the support plan and contact notes; make recommendations as necessary.
