About The Position

Direct all operational processes in alignment with the firm’s strategic profitability and growth plans. Focus operational processes to drive efficiency, scalability, and quality in project delivery while maintaining a strong focus on profitability. Create and manage operating budgets, track key financial metrics (e.g., staff utilization, direct labor multipliers, and overhead), and ensure alignment with firm financial goals. Lead project and financial reviews to monitor performance, identify risks, and implement tactical strategies for improvement. Conduct and oversee monthly Practice Leader and Business group director reviews to evaluate operational performance and progress towards fiscal year goals. Assist in Quarterly Business Review meetings by preparing data, trends and identifying opportunities for improvement. Review Project Performance Metrics across all business groups to assess project performance. Monitor firm wide direct labor ratio as well as firm growth/loss metrics for each business group. Mentor and guide team members to support professional development, leadership growth, and a collaborative, high-performing culture. Lead assigned key firm wide initiatives to improve processes, procedures, and our performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering
  • 15+ years’ experience in Engineering and operations leadership
  • Professional License (PE)
