About The Position

The Coca-Cola Company is seeking a Director of Operations, Manufacturing (WCM Leader) to lead production, maintenance, and blending teams at their Mainstreet Manufacturing site. This role is responsible for achieving world-class manufacturing performance levels to support the North American Operating Unit Supply Chain's strategy and serves as a developmental platform for career progression. The position involves overseeing production operations for multiple businesses (Thermal & Juice), collaborating with functional Centers of Excellence (CoE's), and developing a long-range manufacturing network strategy and capacity plan that drives continuous improvement and competitive advantage. The role also ensures the financial sustainability and competitiveness of the site, manages manufacturing and Supply Chain infrastructure, and oversees quality control and safety programs like TCCMS, HACCP, and GMP. Implementation of World Class Manufacturing (WCM) System tools and routines is key to predicting operational challenges and driving continuous improvement. The Director will also provide leadership, direction, and coaching to direct reports and support the General Manager in meeting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Industrial Engineering, Life Science, related discipline or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 7-10 years related work experience.
  • Strong Financial Acumen (Manufacturing Finance).
  • Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis and must not require The Coca-Cola Company's sponsorship to continue to work legally in the United States.

Nice To Haves

  • MBA Degree preferred.
  • World Class Manufacturing, Lean, Six Sigma working experience highly desirable.
  • Food and/or beverage experience.
  • Relevant SAP application experience.
  • PET bottle blow molding, ammonia refrigeration operations and maintenance, PSM experience desirable.
  • Water/Wastewater Treatment for juice/beverage/food manufacturing experience.
  • ISO or other management system experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead production, maintenance, and blending teams to achieve world-class manufacturing performance.
  • Oversee and collaborate with functional Centers of Excellence (CoE's) supporting manufacturing operations.
  • Develop a long-range manufacturing network strategy and capacity plan.
  • Ensure strategies are understood and objectives are clearly set throughout supply chain operations.
  • Assist in managing manufacturing and Supply Chain infrastructure to meet present and future demands.
  • Adequately maintain appropriate human and financial resources to meet business demands.
  • Implement capital plans for buildings, equipment, and other assets.
  • Ensure site’s financial sustainability and competitiveness, including managing manufacturing finance aspects.
  • Provide recommendations on organizational readiness, emphasizing key leadership positions.
  • Oversee procedures and processes to ensure product and package quality.
  • Verify TCCMS, HACCP, and GMP programs are in place and effective.
  • Implement World Class Manufacturing System tools and routines for continuous improvement.
  • Supply direct reports with leadership, direction, and coaching.
  • Support the General Manager while meeting competitive Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Perform related tasks, support company initiatives, and complete special projects as assigned.
