About The Position
An established skilled nursing facility is seeking an experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our nursing department and ensure the delivery of quality resident care.
Requirements
- Active RN license required
- Previous nursing leadership or supervisory experience required
- Skilled nursing facility (SNF) or long-term care experience required
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities
- Direct the overall operations of the Nursing Department
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures
- Ensure accurate nursing documentation and conduct chart audits
- Participate in resident assessments, care planning, and discharge planning
- Provide leadership and support to nursing staff
