About The Position
Twelve Oaks Recovery Center is seeking a Director of Nursing (RN) to lead clinical operations across detox and residential programs. This is a high-impact leadership role with strong corporate support, a collaborative team, and the opportunity to shape care delivery in a respected, mission-driven environment. As Director of Nursing, you will lead nursing operations across detox and residential levels of care, ensuring safe, compliant, and patient-centered clinical services. You’ll play a key role in fostering a positive culture, supporting staff development, and maintaining the highest standards of care.
Requirements
- Active RN license (FL or compact eligible)
- 3+ years RN experience (behavioral health preferred)
- 2+ years leadership experience (Manager, Supervisor, DON)
Nice To Haves
- Experience in detox, psych, or addiction treatment is a plus
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and day-to-day leadership for all nursing operations
- Oversee clinical quality, patient safety, and performance improvement initiatives
- Support individualized treatment planning and continuity of care
- Collaborate closely with medical, clinical, and behavioral health leadership
- Mentor, coach, and develop nursing staff and frontline leaders
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulatory standards
