About The Position

The Kidz Club PPEC is seeking an experienced RN leader for the role of Site Director of Nursing (SDON). This position involves leading and supporting a team of clinical and non-clinical staff, championing quality care for children and families, and fostering a supportive environment. Unlike a hospital setting, this role allows for building long-term relationships with families and supporting children's growth and development. The position offers consistent Monday through Friday hours with no nights, weekends, or major holidays, providing a balance between meaningful work and personal life.

Requirements

• Current RN licensure in the state of your designated facility (NLC accepted where applicable)
• Minimum 5 years of nursing experience
• At least 6 months of experience in a PICU, NICU, or PPEC setting
• Strong leadership presence with a warm, collaborative approach
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Current TB test
• Comfortable with basic computer skills and Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day clinical life of the facility.
• Supervise staff including RNs, LPNs, SRNAs, and care support.
• Coordinate care plans for children.
• Advocate for families.
• Ensure each child receives individualized attention.
• Coordinate with physicians, therapists, specialists, and community resources within a multidisciplinary model.
• Keep the team informed, engaged, and growing through in-service training, quality assurance, and a culture of excellence and compassion.
• Oversee nursing care, clinical quality, compliance, and staff development as part of a two-person leadership team.
