About The Position
Tutera Senior Living & Health Care is hiring a Director of Nursing | DON | LPN for Antioch Valley. The role administers and manages Nursing Services for residents in accordance with physician orders and residents’ overall needs. The Director of Nursing provides 24-hour supervision of Nursing Services and directs the Nursing Department to maintain quality standards of care. In the absence of the Administrator, this role assumes responsibility for center operations. Tutera supports nurse leaders with a DON mentorship program, tuition reimbursement, a professional support network, and a structured DON orientation program that includes in-person training with the Regional Nurse, virtual leadership training, and CEU opportunities. Requirements
- Currently licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of practice.
- Prior experience in an LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting.
- Two years of experience in a nurse supervisory role.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Professional image in appearance and behavior.
- Passion for working with seniors.
- Flexible, fun, and energetic personality.
Nice To Haves
- Associate or bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school.
