Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) with active NY license
- Proven nursing leadership experience in a SNF or healthcare setting
- Strong background in staff development, team building, and clinical operations
- Experience with regulatory compliance and survey processes
- Decisive, accountable, and people-focused leader
- Ability to balance clinical excellence with operational realities
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language at an intermediate or more advanced level
Responsibilities
- Lead the overall clinical direction of an established skilled nursing facility
- Partner with an engaged Administrator and experienced leadership team
- Build and mentor high-performing nursing leaders
- Influence quality outcomes, resident satisfaction, and staff engagement
- Drive meaningful improvements that make a lasting impact
- Lead overall nursing operations and clinical services
- Oversee staffing strategy, scheduling oversight, and workforce development
- Provide mentorship and development of ADONs, Unit Managers, Supervisors, and nursing staff
- Ensure regulatory compliance and survey readiness
- Manage Quality Assurance & Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives
- Oversee clinical education, orientation, and ongoing professional development
- Collaborate with physicians, pharmacy, rehabilitation, and interdisciplinary teams
- Build and maintain a high-performing, engaged nursing team
- Drive clinical excellence, documentation accuracy, and care planning standards
- Lead recruitment, onboarding, coaching, and performance management
- Ensure regulatory compliance and survey readiness
- Partner with leadership to improve retention, reduce agency reliance, and strengthen staffing stability
- Serve as a visible, hands-on leader supporting staff and residents
