About The Position

Sunset Rehab and Healthcare Center is seeking a Director of Nursing (DON) | RN. Tutera Senior Living & Health Care supports its Nurse Leaders with a superior DON mentorship program, tuition reimbursement, a network of professionals, and a 5-Star DON Orientation Program. The Director of Nursing is responsible for the administration and management of Nursing Services to residents, ensuring quality standards of care and 24-hour supervision. In the absence of the Administrator, the DON assumes responsibility for center operations.

Requirements

Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state in which you are practicing.
Prior experience in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting required.
Two years of experience in a nurse supervisory role required.
Professional image in both appearance and behavior.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Associate or bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school preferred.

A flexible, fun, and energetic personality.

Responsibilities

Administration and management of Nursing Services to residents in accordance with physician's orders and the total needs of the residents.
24-hour supervision of Nursing Services.
Directing the Nursing Department to maintain quality standards of care.
Assuming responsibility for center operations in the absence of the Administrator.
