About The Position
The Director of Nursing (DON) provides clinical leadership across both Northern Oaks Place and Southern Oaks Place, ensuring residents at each community receive safe, personalized, and compassionate care. This role oversees all clinical operations, supports and develops care teams, and ensures consistency in care delivery, compliance, and quality standards across both locations. Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Prior leadership experience in senior living, assisted living, or long-term care
- Strong knowledge of clinical systems, regulations, and best practices
- Ability to effectively manage responsibilities across multiple locations
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Passion for providing high-quality, resident-centered care
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical oversight for both Northern Oaks Place and Southern Oaks Place
- Lead and support nursing and caregiving teams across both communities
- Ensure compliance with all state regulations and company policies
- Oversee resident assessments, care planning, and service delivery
- Manage medication systems, infection control practices, and clinical documentation
- Partner with Executive Directors and leadership teams at both locations
- Support staff training, mentoring, and performance management
- Promote a positive, resident-centered culture focused on quality and compassion
- Monitor and improve clinical outcomes and quality measures
