About The Position

River Oaks of Minnesota is seeking a Full-Time Nursing Director (RN) to lead our nursing services and champion the quality of life for residents navigating mental health challenges. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by providing strong leadership, mentorship, and clinical oversight while supporting a compassionate, resident-centered care environment. As our Nursing Director, you will serve as the cornerstone of our care program, overseeing the daily operations of the nursing department while providing hands-on support, guidance, and training to the direct care team. Requirements

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Minnesota
BLS certification
Strong clinical judgment, leadership, and communication skills
Organized, self-motivated, and highly effective at prioritization
Passion for improving quality of life and delivering person-centered care
Commitment to regulatory excellence and compassionate service

Responsibilities

Provide strong, positive leadership to the nursing department while mentoring and supporting direct care staff.
Coordinate and deliver training programs to promote staff growth, quality care, and clinical excellence.
Partner with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary team members to develop, implement, and coordinate comprehensive person-centered care plans that support both mental health and physical wellness.
Ensure regulatory compliance, safe medication administration practices, timely physician communication, and quality outcomes for residents with complex mental health and physical care needs.
