Director of Nursing Surgical Services | Up to $150K
About The Position
Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is hiring a Director of Nursing Surgical Services in Benton, Arkansas. This senior nursing leadership position reports directly to the Chief Nursing Officer and provides operational and clinical oversight for Main OR, Outpatient Surgery, PACU, Pre-Op, Post-Op, and Endoscopy services. The role leads approximately 80 FTEs supporting inpatient and outpatient surgical services and is responsible for staffing, budgeting, quality initiatives, regulatory compliance, performance improvement, and departmental operations. The Director will oversee key metrics including case volume, turnover time, block utilization, and on-time starts. The Surgical Services department includes six main operating rooms supporting inpatient and outpatient procedures across various service lines such as Bariatrics, Colon & Rectal Surgery, Endoscopy, General Surgery, Gynecology, Orthopedics, ENT, Podiatry, and Urology.
Requirements
- Current RN License REQUIRED
- Minimum 3 years experience in a Director role REQUIRED
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing REQUIRED
Nice To Haves
- MSN, MBA, or Healthcare Administration degree
- Experience managing 60+ FTEs
- BLS Certification
- ACLS Certification
- PALS Certification
- Minimum 5 years Surgical Director experience
- PACU, Pre-Op, and Endoscopy leadership experience
- Experience in PACU, Pre-Op, Post-Op, Gastro, and Surgery preferred
