About The Position

Diversicare is seeking an Interim Director of Nursing Services (RN) to lead the nursing department at Diversicare Sedgwick in Sedgwick, Kansas. The role shapes the quality of care and life for residents, advances the nursing department, and contributes to the facility’s mission. Requirements

Hold a current Registered Nurse license issued by a State Board of Nursing.
Demonstrate managerial and administrative ability.
Have at least two years of supervisory experience.
Be proficient in organizing and planning programs, assigning personnel, and evaluating reports and data to support quality improvement initiatives.

Nice To Haves

Experience in long-term care or working with geriatric populations is preferred.

Responsibilities

Assume responsibility in the Administrator’s absence, implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance, and collaborate with key stakeholders to maintain best practices.
Assist in preparing and administering the department budget and ensure efficient allocation of resources.
Recruit, coach, and evaluate nursing staff, supporting continuous improvement and professional growth.
Analyze and evaluate nursing services to enhance resident care.
Develop systems that promote resident well-being and functional independence.
