About The Position

The Director of Nursing (DON) is responsible for activities and functions related to the administration of member care systems and member care in nursing areas and departments. Employees in this role are required to participate in a structured on-call rotation, remaining accessible and prepared to respond to work-related needs within a designated timeframe. Rotations are scheduled in advance.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and Four (4) years of nursing experience (including two years psychiatric and two years supervisory) OR Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related field + two years of psychiatric experience + one year supervisory experience
At least one year of nursing supervision within the last five years
Current RN licensure in the state of operation
CPR, BLS (AHA), and CPI (hands-on) certification by start date
Valid and current driver’s license, and personal vehicle insurance with your name listed as a driver.
Willingness to use your personal vehicle to drive clients to appointments and groups, etc. (weekly mileage reimbursement at the IRS rate)
