Requirements

  • Current RN or LPN license in the State of Colorado.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with electronic resident record systems.

Nice To Haves

  • Clinical leadership or supervisory experience in Assisted Living, Memory Care, senior living, or a related healthcare setting preferred.
  • Previous experience as a Health & Wellness Director, Wellness Director, Director of Nursing (DON), ADON, Director of Health Services, or similar clinical leadership role preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a key member of the Assisted Living leadership team, maintaining current knowledge of applicable rules, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Ensure residents' individual needs and preferences are consistently met with compassion and dignity.
  • Lead and support the health services team in delivering high-quality, efficient, resident-centered care.
  • Provide appropriate clinical supervision through effective staffing models, clinical processes, role expectations, and performance monitoring.
  • Promote clinical best practices and consistent processes that support high-quality, compliant resident care.
  • Support implementation and standardization of policies and procedures, personnel management, quality improvement, compliance, and clinical documentation.
  • Partner with the Executive Director to provide ongoing coaching, performance management, and development of the health services team.
  • Promote high employee engagement, collaboration, satisfaction, and retention.
  • Investigate and report suspected resident neglect and/or abuse in accordance with applicable requirements and in coordination with the Executive Director.
  • Lead by example with exceptional attention to resident care, wellbeing, communication, and follow-through.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Director and Regional Team to determine staffing needs based on resident acuity and care levels.
