About The Position

The selected candidate for this role will be responsible for driving revenue growth by developing and implementing sales strategies to attract corporate clients. This position involves building strong relationships with clients, negotiating contracts, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction while meeting hotel revenue targets.

Requirements

  • Strong organization and negotiation skills and the ability to work in a deadline-oriented environment
  • Strong relationship building and communication skills along with a focus on exceptional customer service skills.
  • Be flexible and adaptable in working in other key sales areas where necessary
  • Optimistic self-starter with a high degree of drive, motivation, and initiative
  • Understand industry specific trends
  • Ability to travel

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales plans to increase occupancy and revenue through corporate bookings, group sales, and special events.
  • Manage current accounts and ensure proper solicitation of the designated market
  • Attain personal booking goals and monitor production compliance
  • Secure a thorough understanding of hotel operations and negotiate profitable sales
  • Manage familiarization trips and site visits to nurture new business and highlight the unique features of the Resort.
  • Solicit new business by resourcefully expanding account base; identifying and developing new markets; creating and executing innovative plans
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands to adjust sales strategies accordingly
  • Identify new business opportunities, generate leads, and convert them into bookings through cold calling, net working, and industry events.
  • Be open to learn and follow team strategy
  • Participate in trade shows and community and professional organizations to maintain high visibility and the achievement of sales and revenue goals.
  • Attend important business networking events
  • Attend internal and external meetings & events as required
  • Produce production reports as required by Revenue Manager and Director of Sales
