About The Position

The Director of Musical directs the musical activity and coordinates a program that allows students to develop their interests. The role provides leadership for the middle school musical club, including its organization and supervision, setting directions and expectations, and monitoring student eligibility and academic progress. The position is at Manhattan Middle in Boulder, Colorado. The activity period is November 1, 2026, through February 28, 2027, with a total contract amount of $1,925–$2,540. The Activity Sponsor reports to the athletic director and building principal.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Complete and submit a BVSD online application.
• Ability to communicate (read, write, and speak) in English.

• Knowledge of all aspects of middle school activity programming.
• Proven leadership qualities and successful experience working with middle school students.
