The Impact You Will Have The Director of Marketing is responsible for building, evolving, and establishing Coupe Health’s brand and product marketing, communications, and member engagement strategies. You will work closely with a variety of business partners within and outside of Marketing, including the Coupe Leadership team, to define, develop, and implement competitive go-to-market strategies. Leading an internal team of marketing strategists, you will translate acquisition, retention, and engagement goals – which fuel the Coupe’s operating model – into brand management, B2B and B2C multi-channel campaigns, and sales enablement initiatives. Of course, all of this is underpinned by successful execution. You are a passionate, strategic thinker and builder who’s not afraid to get into the trenches to get the job done – shifting easily from high-level strategy development and cross-functional influence to oversight of marketing strategy, plans, and implementation activities. This position reports to the Vice President, Marketing.

Requirements

  • Accepting this director level position requires signing an Agreement Regarding Non-Disclosure of Confidential Information and Non-Competition as a condition of employment.
  • 7+ years of related professional experience, with 3+ years of management experience.
  • All relevant experience including work, education, transferable skills, and military experience will be considered.
  • Proven people leader abilities, namely in building and developing strong talent
  • Strong strategic thinking and business acumen with the ability to align strategies and recommendations with business objectives
  • Executive communication skills, synthesizing information to clearly communicate key learnings, actionable strategies, and recommendations of new opportunities to senior leadership
  • Expert knowledge in the areas of B2B and B2C marketing strategy, digital and traditional advertising, sales enablement, and customer engagement and experience
  • Passion for learning and implementing new, innovative marketing and engagement capabilities and for leveraging market and customer data to transform go-to-market strategies and better meet business goals
  • Excellent collaboration and relationship management skills, with an ability to influence results, garner support and tactfully manage complex relationships within and across the organization.
  • High school diploma (or equivalency) and legal authorization to work in the U.S.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s/MBA in marketing is highly preferred.
  • Previous experience in marketing and communications within healthcare delivery or for healthcare services.

Responsibilities

  • Builds and develops strong working relationships with internal partners across Sales/Account Management, Product/Tech, Analytics, Operations, Marketing Shared Services; translates business strategy and objectives into Marketing and Engagement strategy.
  • Oversees relationship and strategy with external agency partners and ensures commitments are delivered as planned and in a compelling manner.
  • Establishes and reinforces compelling and differentiated positioning of the Coupe Health brand, product, and experience; socializes positioning across organization to ensure consistency across channels and associates
  • Leads marketing strategic planning, execution, and measurement initiatives as they relate to awareness, consideration, and acquisition/conversion goals.
  • Leads team to build and implement B2B and B2C strategies via omni-channel campaigns to drive education, consideration, conversion, and renewal
  • Measures marketing performance, leveraging data to optimize plans, extend insights for cross-functional partner (Sales, Account Management, Tech/Product) activation, and innovate around growth and engagement.
  • Socializes campaign analysis, impact, and insights; builds and ensures closed-loop feedback of results to Sales leadership to inform continuous improvement of cross-functional engagement strategies.
  • Advances capabilities and integrates data across primary, secondary and observational research sources to identify and size opportunities for enhancing customer and member consideration, acquisition, satisfaction, and renewal
  • Utilize a data-driven approach – leveraging demographic, preference, behavioral information and more – to design, develop, and execute member communication and engagement strategies
  • Advance capabilities and manage channel orchestration (via tools like Salesforce Marketing Cloud) to achieve a coordinated, simple, personalized, and member-friendly experience – from education to easily utilizing their health plan
  • Lead and govern of all member-facing materials with respect to legal, regulatory, and brand standards, ensuring consistent and best-in-class development and execution
  • Responsible for marketing budget and its priorities as aligned upon by P&L and Marketing leadership.
  • Develop team including interviewing, hiring, and managing associates, following required EEO and Affirmative Action guidelines.
  • Conducts performance evaluations, and ensures associates receive timely feedback, guidance, training, and career development.
