About The Position

The Director of Marketing, Public Relations, and Foundation will lead the strategic planning and execution of marketing initiatives, public relations, and fundraising efforts to enhance the visibility and reputation of Marshall County Hospital. This position is responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive communication strategies that align with the hospital's mission and goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or a related healthcare field; or equivalent healthcare experience in the field
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a healthcare setting, with a strong understanding of healthcare operations and patient care dynamics.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience managing teams and projects.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and social media platforms.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute marketing plans to drive patient engagement and community outreach.
  • Oversee the creation of promotional materials, including brochures, newsletters, and digital content.
  • Analyze market trends and patient demographics to inform marketing strategies.
  • Collaborate with clinical departments to promote services and programs effectively.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including community leaders, media representatives, and health organizations.
  • Prepare and distribute press releases, statements, and other communications to promote hospital initiatives.
  • Monitor public perception and media coverage to address concerns and enhance the hospital's reputation.
  • Oversee the hospital foundation's fundraising activities, including events, campaigns, and grant writing.
  • Cultivate relationships with donors and potential donors, ensuring effective stewardship of contributions.
  • Develop and implement strategies for increasing donor engagement and contributions.
  • Collaborate with the board of the foundation to set fundraising goals and objectives.
