Director of Marketing & Communications

Buffalo Builders LLC•Little Rock, AR

About The Position

Buffalo Builders is seeking an experienced marketing leader to own its marketing strategy, strengthen its brand, and support the continued growth of the commercial construction company. The Director will work directly with the CEO and collaborate with colleagues and external partners. Initially, this is a team-of-one role, with the opportunity to shape the marketing function, determine the right mix of internal and external resources, and eventually build and lead a team. As the function matures and the candidate demonstrates leadership, ownership, and business impact, there is an opportunity to grow into a Vice President of Marketing role. The Director will develop marketing strategy, set priorities and budgets, measure results, and connect marketing activity to business outcomes. The role includes championing the Buffalo Builders brand and voice; supporting business development, estimating, preconstruction, and operations on proposals, RFQs, RFPs, qualifications packages, and client presentations; and developing content, thought leadership, digital marketing, public relations, and creative campaigns. The Director will also manage agency and creative partnerships, build relationships across the company, and help establish the future marketing organization. Buffalo Builders describes its culture as entrepreneurial, fast-moving, and results-oriented, with an expectation that employees take initiative, exercise good judgment, and work effectively amid ambiguity. A degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field is welcome, but demonstrated experience, judgment, and results are emphasized.
