Director of Manufacturing
About The Position
This is a salaried exempt, full on-site position located in Bradford, PA. This role is responsible for achieving financial objectives through budget preparation and capital expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions. The Director of Manufacturing will develop and meet manufacturing process goals, monitor productivity and quality, and manage manufacturing costs effectively. They will establish policies and procedures, participate in continuous improvement initiatives, and report on manufacturing metrics and KPIs. Additionally, this role involves providing leadership and training to foster employee development and a collaborative culture.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Four to six years manufacturing experience required.
- Demonstrated Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel) required.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Finance preferred.
- Knowledge of AX operating system a plus.
Responsibilities
- Achieve financial objectives by preparing and assisting with annual budget process and capital expenditures.
- Analyze variances and initiate corrective actions.
- Develop and meet manufacturing process goals.
- Monitor and regulate productivity levels.
- Monitor and regulate quality and manufacturing costs through effective management of resources.
- Establish policies and procedures relating to the manufacturing process.
- Participate or lead Strategic Action Plans, Quick Fixes, and Continuous Improvement Teams.
- Report manufacturing metrics and key performance indicators.
- Provide leadership and training in the development of the culture and employees through collaboration, team building, growth, etc.
