This role is responsible for establishing and evolving a formal IT PMO framework, including standardized processes, templates, and reporting metrics. The Director will implement project portfolio management (PPM) tools, define quality assurance gates, and collaborate with stakeholders across various business units to prioritize initiatives. The position involves managing IT capital and operating expenditure budgets, overseeing the delivery of large-scale resort projects, and serving as a high-level escalation point for project-related conflicts. The Director will also participate in IT Change Management, build detailed project plans, manage vendor onboarding, and assess project performance. A key aspect of the role is supporting IT operations in meeting compliance and audit requirements from regulatory bodies such as Muckleshoot Casino Resort, TGA, MGC, and WSGC. The Director will lead communication plans, user acceptance testing, and benefit measurement analysis, while also providing feedback on projects and managing dependencies. Risk, issue, and dependency management, along with scope, schedule, cost, and resource control, are critical. The role requires preparing status reports, defining project plans, establishing documentation, and ensuring project success criteria are met. Managing work plans, staffing, and change request processes are also key responsibilities. The Director will act as a role model, providing coaching and training in project management, and contributing to continuous learning initiatives. Maintaining a deep understanding of the resort's business processes and systems, and seeking ways to improve guest experience, are essential. The position also requires a positive demeanor when engaging with guests and team members, and performing other duties as assigned.
