This role is responsible for establishing and evolving a formal IT PMO framework, including standardized processes, templates, and reporting metrics. The Director will implement project portfolio management (PPM) tools for real-time visibility into project health, resource allocation, and timelines. They will define quality assurance gates, collaborate with various business units to prioritize initiatives, and manage IT capital and operating expenditure budgets related to projects. The position involves overseeing the delivery of large-scale resort projects, serving as an escalation point for project conflicts, and actively participating in IT Change Management. The role also includes managing business requirements, assessing project performance, supporting IT operations in meeting compliance and audit requirements, and leading project communication plans and user acceptance testing. Additionally, the Director will assist with benefit measurement analysis, review projects, coordinate dependencies, manage risks and issues, and monitor project scope, schedule, cost, and resource changes. They will prepare status reports, define and maintain project plans, establish project documentation and lifecycle methodology, ensure project success criteria are met, and manage work plans and staffing. The role also involves managing the project change request process, acting as a role model for project management, and contributing to continuous learning programs. A deep understanding of Muckleshoot Casino Resort’s business processes and systems is required, along with a focus on improving guest experience.
