  • Strong understanding of how enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, data governance, and business continuity influence technology decisions; experience partnering with the leaders responsible for these areas.
  • Excellent executive communication and stakeholder-management skills, including the ability to influence across functions, resolve competing priorities, and present clear recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Evidence of readiness for broader technology leadership through expanded responsibilities, cross-functional initiatives, organizational development, and sound judgment in complex situations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience considered.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Sage Intacct, Kahua, Salesforce, HRIS or payroll systems, and reporting platforms.

  • Own enterprise platforms, infrastructure services, end-user support, and business application support, establishing accountability for service availability, performance, and employee experience.
  • Lead and develop platform professionals, service delivery teams, application specialists, and business-facing subject matter experts; establish goals, coach emerging leaders, and build succession plans.
  • Partner with Finance, Construction, Sales, HR, Data Center Operations, and other functions to understand business needs, improve workflows, and prioritize technology initiatives with measurable value.
  • Develop business cases and recommendations explaining expected benefits, total cost of ownership, implementation requirements, and risk; balance immediate needs with long-term scalability and maintainability.
  • Develop and manage operating and capital budgets within the role’s scope; oversee vendors, licensing, contracts, and service providers, holding partners accountable for quality, cost, and business outcomes.
  • Oversee availability, security, performance, integration, and lifecycle management of Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Windows Server, endpoints, virtualization, backup, monitoring, and other core technology services.
  • Direct support and continuous improvement of financial, construction management, CRM, HRIS, collaboration, and reporting platforms; partner with Data and business leaders to improve integrations, data quality, and access to reliable information.
  • Mature incident, problem, request, change, asset, configuration, and knowledge management practices; use service levels, KPIs, and trend analysis to reduce recurring issues and improve delivery.
  • Partner with Security and other stakeholders on access controls, vulnerability remediation, backup validation, disaster recovery testing, and business continuity; communicate operational risks and remediation priorities in business terms.
  • Coordinate with Project Management, Security, Data, and business stakeholders to deliver controlled production changes, clear operational handoffs, sustainable support models, and effective technology adoption.
  • Assess emerging technologies, automation, and AI-enabled capabilities for practical business use; recommend adoption when benefits, costs, security, and support requirements justify investment.
  • Present service performance, investment recommendations, roadmap progress, and material risks to senior leadership; make clear recommendations and explain tradeoffs to technical and nontechnical audiences.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
