The consortium plans to offer five doctoral psychology internship positions in its first cohort, with the intention to increase this number and pursue APPIC membership and APA accreditation. PCIC follows a practitioner-scholar model, emphasizing developmental training, collaborative learning, and shared resources, aligning intern evaluation with APA profession-wide competencies.
